Pleeaase HELP!

Maybe not the right group but I know that I can find some knowledgeable
(former?) Lexmark OptraColor 45 owners here.

Trying to print an invitation by means of StarOffice on Card Stock
4.25" x 8.50" in Landscape orientation (cards length wise through
printer) I'm going nuts!

Finally the doc is OK, no forms mismatches, but the darn printing will
start at the beginning edge of the card, or after 3 inches of the card went
through the printer first. Vertical centering is OK, but horizontally all
is wrong.

In SO I created user type paper, in OS/2 as well, only the Lexmark does not
have that exact size available (DL Envelope comes close). What do I need to
do to fix this stupid problem? Any ideas?

Need to finish this jobby and am dearly running out of time.
