> Yes it is funny - both your statements. > IBM and Cyrix chip are the same thing different badge. > Your statement Glenn is even funner. The Cyrix chips are far > superior to the Intel chips, it might pay for you to look at some > benchmarks. > By the way haven't seen an IBM 686 only 586. yes your ignorance is showing or your just trying to stir up muddy waters. The Cyrix chips may be faster, that I wont dispute, but as far as compliance goes with most applications and OTHER HARDWARE, the Intel is by far the more compliant. Sorry if you don;t beleive this butthose are the facts. Most retailers will delete this as $200 cheaper is a far much better selling point as well as the same profit factor being acheived. Oh and by the way, are you telling me this IBM 686/150 CPU I have doesn't exist :-) Cheers Glenn --- FLAME v1.1* Origin: Bronz BBS, Sydney (3:713/676) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 623/630 625/0 160 640/820 711/410 413 430 808 SEEN-BY: 711/809 915 933 934 712/311 407 505 506 517 623 624 704 841 713/317 SEEN-BY: 713/322 323 601 615 618 676 905 906 800/1 @PATH: 713/676 317 712/624 711/808 934 |
