BBS_PROMOTION is designed for discussion, not really for the posting of
lists.  I'll admit it's an uphill battle to get the bbs ads out of
there, too...   When Allen took it over, he was, for a while, trying to
get it back to the original purpose... then he got sick for so long, and
wasn't able to monitor it, and it went back mostly to auto-posts of ads,
which really are off-topic there... 

As one of the few remaining regulars there, I could see having an update
posted there maybe once a month, but otherwise, I'd be afraid that it
would give yet another wrong idea about the use of that echo...  What we
really need is to get a really good discussion going there about HOW to
promote one's bbs or bbs'ing in general...  :)
