DC> Does anyone know how I can enter a string variable from
DC> Visual Basic 4 into a Word 6 document?
BD> I don't follow you at all, Dik. Can you be more explicit as to the
BD> function you're trying to accomplish? Tell us about the VB4 program
I've written a program that determines the amount of water run-off from a
watershed area and the variables I have in the program that I want to
transfer to a Word document consist of a string (defined as a variant
string-not fixed length; text values, not numbers) variables that I want
to include in a Word template I use. I also have some 2 dimension array
data (defined as Single) that I want to include in a Table in the Word
document...
It's likely a matter of using the OLE capability of Visual Basic and
placing it into a bookmarked area...
BD> A grid??? A grid in what? Excel? Access? Text file? What do you mean
BD> by a grid?
A grid in Visual Basic... like a sheet in Excell or a Table in Word...
A series of rows and columns, each column with its own format...
Regards Dik
