Somehow I don't think the majority of Americans have really thought much on
this. The local newspapers are not very thorough and the local news shows
suck ( I'm not talking liberal vs. conservative but factual) . After living
in PA for a few years the differences in news reporting is amazing. Be glad
you are in a state where you have relatively good news coverage.
