My previous comments related to Dave's board, where he had been testing
Jill's V.34 Sportster for viability as a BBS modem. Apart from lacking
V.34+, HST and V.32terbo (which only affected 4 or 5 of his callers
anyway), the modem performed superbly. However, mine is a 33600 V.34+
Sportster, so until Dave put the Courier back on line, I'd been restricted
to 28800 connects.

And no, my Courier has STILL not arrived, but I'm making a few waves about
it now, and expect to hear something soon. I won't complain though, as
when I originally ordered it, the exchange rate was only A$0.66/US$1, and
it's now hovering around the 78 cent mark, making it much cheaper from my
POV. :)

Regards, Bill
