That's what I said, the meter is attached to the end of the 
coax where the radio goes. Then the radio is attached to the 
meter with a short piece of coax. The meter measures the 
SWR at the end of the coax where the radio is usually 
attached. The shoeter the patch coax the better, if you 
plan to leave the meter inline.
