That hasn't happened here in well over a decade.  The only reason I ask at
all is just in case I happen to stumble across any DOS type people who are
looking to update or replace any of their abandonware.  :-)

Now you are getting somewhere on the "very interesting" scale here.

Shouldn't be too big of a problem, except maybe DOS.  I don't know anyone
around here that is still using DOS, let alone with a compiler.  That used
to be me that had to take care of that aspect.  Like I said, I gave that up
over a decade ago.

You definetly have my attention.  Most of the reason, if not all, for the
interest in the XML-RPC server was to make it easy 
for the Windows users here to use their browsers to do Fido.  If a suitable
method could be found for them to do offline - I like the idea of points
but that is offline of a sort - then that just might prove to be a better
idea .
