I was tryin to make a point that not all FOSSIL drivers provide an INT 14
interface, my ONEFOSsil does not provide any BIOS support, so for COMMO to
work with ONEFOSsil, ONEFOSsil must be enabled first so that the FOSSIL spec
which is really an extension on top of INT 14 can be used as if it was an int
14 handler....
The point is also that some fossil drivers are very unreliable when it comes
to flow control... I am sure Fred would rather have some control over some of
this stuff, I am not saying that the BIOS specification also can't be an
option, but really a FOSSIL driver is best used as a FOSSIL driver. In a
ood
FOSSIL driver and application, of the 4 BIOS functions that exist in a
FOSSIL driver, only function 3 is used. (Most applications are not yet that
efficient though)...

SB> How do I let him write you?
good question, got me ... people say funny things sometimes.. none the less
I am more than sure you new what I ment, and the post was more directed at
Fred, but the same applies to anyone, if they want to know how to take real
advantage of a FOSSIL driver, I can more than help.
SB> I mean he's a great programmer and he's more than capable of getting any

But when I am the person who holds the information, he has to ask. I have
done nothing more than publish my idea as a reference guide to programming
or
my ONEFOSsil. If he wants to read that, go ahead, but I could use to
learify
some parts of it on a one on one basis. I am also in the process of
eleasing
a C/C++ library (source included) that would be useful for some programmers
just to look at.
SB> All I ment to say in my last post was that Fred has done a great job for

SB> If you think you can do a better job I issue the challenge!
I can't say much at all, mainly because I never got the announcement he
released it, and second, the only things it has done wrong is with things it
can't control...
I have yet to see the latest beta too... fidonet mail moves awfully slow to
me...
