Duplexing may be a problem. I use a Brother HL-2040 Laser printer - but 
no Duplexing. It still has Parallel as well as USB connectivity. And 
it's Cheap ! Mine cost me AU$89 a few months back. Please note however 
you do need to disable all advanced font capabilities in the printer 
driver to have this work - I use either the HL-2060 or HL-1250 driver 
from the generic Laserjet IBM printer driver pack.

It is possible to re-route the LPT1: port to a usb printer in the OS/2 
spooler, so you may find that this feature means you can use a USB only 
connected printer and VisPro/Rexx sees it still as a parrallel connected 
one.

Another option thats coming along is support for th Unix CUPS system 
under OS/2 and eCS. The OS/2 port of this should add many more current 
printers to the possibilities list - at present however the OS/2 port 
does not work with USB connected printers, only LAN connected. This 
solution may not work where an application has to see a parallel port 
connected printer.
