 How are you checking them?  If your using heuristics, it could be that the 
 binary nature of wav files is giving the impression of being a virus 
 infected file.  It is HIGHLY unlikely that a .WAV file could become 
 corrupted by a virus, and even more unlikely that a virus could be released 
 by the playing of a .WAV file.
