Well, I am glad I finally logged back in here, been a while. Yes I
agree with your comments. Not that some users are elderly but computer
users in general get to know one way and it is difficult to adjust.

My modem recently gave my users some problems and I was surprised at
the number of them who sent email via the web asking me to check into
it.

go figure, they can use web but not telnet. Well I got it up and
running again and my dial up users are happy again.
