| subject: | Line Signal Quality Test |
Jason, at 22:28 on Mar 26 1996, you wrote to All... JLV> My modem has a Rockwell chipset and I have been using AT%Q to do a line JLV> signal quality test. The number represents signal quality in -dBm, which means that the higher the number, the worse the signal. For example, your %Q might return a value of 024 (or -24dBm), which would be TWICE as strong a signal as -30dBm.
