SL>> BTW is this the 11/95 version or the 1/96 version?

PM> As it's dated 14/11/95 I originally thought it was just the

PM> the 1/11 US version identifies itself as a "V.Everything" and the

PM> 14/1 Aust one still says "Dual Standard" so now I'm wondering if

PM> perhaps there is 2 distinct and different code bases from which we

There were originally two types of Courier modems sold in the US.

The Courier V.everything (without HST) and the Courier V.Everything DS

(with the lot). The non-HST one was some two hundred Australian dollars

cheaper (though not available in Aust.

It used to be, that you used the same SDL on the both of them, but the

DS part of the code would not work on the Non DS model. The Australian

model DS would display as '"Dual Standard"

Now USR have decided that even though you paid less for your non DS

they will make it into a DS for FREE. by enabling it in the code. This

was done in the 1/11 code and since then all modems display

"V.Everything" and not "Dual Standard" IF and only IF
they are using

the genuine code made on 1/11 or after.

The OZ code is just WAY BEHIND as usual.
