Just a warning - my 2940UW, which worked great in my Pentium II, was flaky in 
my Pentium 4.  I think it has trouble with the faster bus speeds... I ended up 
buying a 29160 card, which is working well.

Again, you might need to get an adapter.  I'd go for the 68-pin, just to avoid any 
potential headaches.

I doubt it.

The SCSI BIOS certainly is involved; it should show the version during POST.  I 
don't know what the limit is on drive size with a 2940, but SCSI drives tend not to 
get as large as the ATA ones.
