No objections here. I did exactly that when the 4DOS echo fell through the
cracks a few months ago.

Keeping this echo on the backbone is my only concern. I'd go for a
temporary moderator, an election -- whatever. But the paramount task is to
keep this echo on the backbone.
I've already put in place a robot that takes care of regular Echolist
updates of the backbone echoes I moderate, automatically at 30 day
intervals. If needed, I'd be happy to serve in that capacity here until
such time as a permanent moderator volunteers/is elected/is appointed.
