DH> Hmmm....hadn't thought of that. Man, bike racing's cold,
DH> ain't it?
DT> It's a team sport, Dave.
DH> Yeah, I understand that, but the guys he was yelling at did
DH> NOT wear USA jerseys..
That's the point. Those guys were on somebody elses team.. :-)
DH> Me, I just like to get out and ride...for my health, my
DH> enjoyment, my stress-relief probably most of all.
Me too, but I like to ride as quickly as I can. I figure the faster the ride
the more intense and therefore the better the work out. Some days feel
better than others though, y'know? An average of 17 is ok, 18 is good, 19 is
excellent and 20 is once in a very blue moon. I like to ride with a group
once in a while but it's hard to find people that are at the same level. If
they're slower, I don't get a workout. If they're faster, it hurts.
DH> My sister-in-law used to live in Flower Mound a few years
DH> ago, and we came up to visit. Boy, was it hot there, more so
DH> than Houston.
Really? Yeah, it's hot but I don't think it's more uncomfortable than
Houston. I lived in Alief for years. I prefer the drier hotter weather you
find in the Dallas area these days. I've become acclimated.
