From: "mommoteandcoyote" To: "Vladimir Galogaza" Cc: Reply-To: "mommoteandcoyote" Vladimir, The wire tester I use was built back in 1980. LEDs were still pretty new and fairly expensive, but the little "Grain of wheat " bulbs were about 4 for a dollar so I use one of them as my light source. Even though it was small the light still had to be relayed through a small hole to a small right angle mirror, thru a ground glass screen, (more of a chip, really), then out the pinhole. The whole setup attaches to my Foucault tester by removing the KE and sliding in the wire tester. It measures 1/2" thick x3/4" wide x1" tall with a 1/2" long by 1/4" diameter light source projecting from the left with wires to a 6V power source and rheostat. The pin hole is 5mm below the center of the wire aperture. I will be posting pictures of it and some other "stuff" over on the Schmidt Camera chat in the next week or so.
