Er did the career people report there was wmd or was it simply reported they did ?

Tenet was a political appointee. Gross is a political appointee. No one has
( to my knowledge) that Bush should not appoint the political appointees he
wants however that should not extend all the way down the ladder. The
career people should be concerned only about accurate gathering and
interpretation of the intelligence, NOT delivering what the President wants
to hear or information only to support the view of the administration ( ANY
administration). As part of this I also think that those who leaked to the
public should be "retired". Of course I also think that when
Congress asks questions they should get those questions answered fully and
honestly.
