Sharing out the directory doesn't assign it a drive letter: it simply makes
it available on the other systems. You can use UNC to access it without a
letter at all, although in practice that has limited use.
Share out the directory as "POO". Then, on every machine INCLUDING the local
machine, use NET USE M: \\\POO (or use Explorer to do this) and you
will have the same M: drive on every machine.
