How does one solve the problem of the "river of galaxies" observed
recently? It kinda trashes their calculations a bit, right?

Sounds like a good policy. Consider that 99% of the universe is highly
conductive plasma, and the presence of magnetic fields all the way up to
the galactic Superclusters. Plasma is greatly influenced by magnetic
fields, BTW. Could you come up with any valid reason why these powerful
forces are not even mentioned in the BB model? I mean, it has been
shown that plasma and magnetic fields play a key role in the formation
of stars, the intricate structure of nebula, to the quite huge ribbons
of galaxies that stretch across the observable universe. Many studies
done by physicists Tully, Fischer and many other prominent scientists in
the field, have clearly shown that there is a lot more happening in the
plasma universe then many others would like to admit. Yet the BB model
does not mention such processes, in fact the BB model completely ignores
the most powerful force in nature, "electromagnetism", and concentrates
on the weakest, "gravity". So, again I ask, what is the reason why
these processes are not mentioned in the BB model? Is it because they
do not feel it is worth mentioning? Is it fear of losing funding for
their pet project? Is it sheer ignorance of the chosen kind? It is
something for you to think about, while you are on that fence. ;)
