Hello Bill! Monday January 20 1997 06:24, Bill Grimsley wrote to David Drummond: > Correct me if I'm mistaken, but doesn't Class 2.0 have the ability to run > fax at the modem's DTE, rather than having to drop back to a fixed 19200bps > (which can be rather awkward when using Adaptive Answer under a front-end > mailer)? Some class 2 modems do not have this problem, although most do. For this reason, BGFAX does not (by default) use the FOSSIL driver under DOS, so that it _can_ change the port speed. OS/2 would make this difficult though.
