Balance the tube rotationally first.  Do this by devising a cradle where
the tube assembly can easily rotate on its long axis.  The focuser and
finder usually need a counterweight on the opposite side of the tube.  This
counterweight can be slid down to near the mirror to lower overall center
of gravity.
