subject: MBSE Setup on Slackware 12.1

Hello All!

I've been toying with the idea of installing MBSE on one of my Linux
machines, but have hit a roadblock. I unpacked the source for 0.92.0, ran
the SETUP.sh script with no problem, logged out and back in as mbse, ran
./configure, and make.

When I try running su to do the make install, it doesn't recognize the
password. Also, if I try running the passwd command to change the password
while logged in as mbse, it doesn't work. I literally can log in as mbse,
type passwd at the prompt, type in the same password I just used to log in,
and it will fail, saying the password is incorrect.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Andrew
