I'm looking at getting satellite radio-- I drive for 30 minutes with one
station, and 30 minutes with another, with a pile of annoying commercials
from each. Plus the installs I do around the state, out of range of
either-- it looks like a good deal to me, except how to shoehorn the
portable unit onto my dash. I don't want it on top, because of summer sun
damage.

I am looking especially at Sirius: not only the football, but Mel Karmizan
is now in charge and that means it is not likely to go toes-up in the near
future.
