It has 13 page "appendix" that mentions points about other programs and 
languages, probably not definative, ... but probably good enough for starters.

Yeah, and the government has just gone and put 14% VAT on books, previously 
they where exempt. :-((

This one cost me R164-00 divide that by 6 (approx. exchange rate) = US$ 27.33, 
recommended price on book $14.99 US, $21.99 CAN and 10.99 UK pounds.

I have a very marked preference for reading anything, that I expect to be of 
educational value, to be in book form, tho I am becoming accustomed to reading 
"documentation" on-line in HTML format, but books are still way
more prefered.

Will look for programming ruby online later.
