Not only are we our own experts, but we also have less patience when it
comes to obtaining things like information. Most folks are going to choose
from one of the first choices that comes up in a google search. If that
choice happens to be from a less-than-reliable source, so be it.
I did just fine back in the days of encyclopedias, libraries, and reputable
news outlets. It would be tougher now, I think, because those things are
much more difficult to find/access than they used to be.
