I wonder if there have been many accidental discoveries exactly because of
the "incompatible" units... That would be my kinda screwy funny
thing :-)

(My mom had a Checy Caprice Estate some years back, and it was very
annoying because I had to go and buy a load of new tools to work with the
inch sized nuts and bolts on that thing (and it was broken all the time
))
