It's the clutter that's the PITA, but I can fit it on the dash on the passenger side. The one I'm looking at, the new Sportster (?) is a plug-and-play model: for power it uses what used to be the cigarette lighter, and you tune it to an empty FM freq to play it over your stereo. The antenna is a roof/trunk magnet mount, but the reviews I have read said it works fine on the rear deck. We'll see what the pors say: I'm pricing it next at a car audio joint (I was looking it over before at Best Buy). -- Steve http://www.qmss.com/sewing --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
