RP>On 02-10-98, MIKE ANGWIN declared to ROBERT PLETT:
MA>MA> I wonder when the last time was Congress convened, everyone
MA>MA>decided nothing needed to be done, and everyone just went home.
MA>RP>If that ever happened, we'd know for sure the world was coming to an
MA>RP>end.
MA> Or the LP held a majority for two consecutive Congresses. :)
RP>Being equally opposed to the LP as to the DemonRats, I'm one who has a
RP>lot of trouble buying that.
The scenario would be a pretty simple one. The first
Libertarin majority Congress would spend it's time eliminating the 90%
of the federal government that is unnecessary. The second Libertarian
Congress would arrive, see nothing else needed to be done, and then
go home. :)
Kidding of course, but I suspect I wouldn't be that far off.
