 Yes this will be a full U.S. network soon. over 100 cities are now hooked
 up to it. The handset is made by Motorola and it's the iden series of
 equipment. In Canada this product was released with ClearNet on the last
 day of Sept. 1996. There are about 10,000 units now in service. It has
 made an impact on the wireless communication market in the business
 application. The Canadian and U.S. network will soon be joined up so you
 could 2-way radio fron L.A. to quebac city...    This is a multi-function
 handset that is going to take some time to beat. I can even download a
 fax through their network! It's called "Mike" as a nickname here, maybe
 they will extend the name to the U.S. as well. I am a dealer for the "Mike"
 network with ClearNet in Ontario Canada. I hope this answers some of your
