There weren't supposed to be any this year as it's an el-nino period. I
think I explained this months ago which is why you saw no "how many
hurricanes" questions.

what you did see was some very impressive asian hurricanes/typhoons.

Not true. Having just got back from Zermatt, they've been tracking the snow
line/height over some years now (snow on mountains is a swiss obsession as
mucho tourist cash is tied up in it) & it's been getting consistently
higher & later/earlier (i.e. later to come at a given height &
earlier to melt).
