Once apon a time Bill Grimsley said, 'Re: Dynalink 33.6k' to Simon Byrnand...

SB> Interesting. Do you mean that they have replaced it with a

SB> the bug? (IE a later version)

BG> Same TI-based modem, different supervisor date and EPROM revision.

Good, that confirms what I thought about mine.

SB> Or is it a different design altogether? I know for a fact

SB> that they now have a Rockwell based 33.6K Voice/Fax/Data out,

SB> as I've seen it. Is this the one?

BG> No, only the 33k6 externals are Rockwell-based. The internal is TI.

BZZZZT! Wrong! :-) Like I said, I have SEEN and INSTALLED an *internal*

Dynalink 33.6K Voice/Fax/Data nearly a month ago, and it was Rockwell

based. The TI/USR Clone was the first and only internal Dynalink 33.6K

model for quite a while, but Dynalink now has a whole range of 33.6K

internals - including the aformentioned Fax/Data TI/USR Clone we both

have, and the Voice/Fax/Data Rockwell based one I mentioned.

SB> After you have evaluated it, could you post the ATI screens?

BG> Already done (and you'll have seen it by now).

Yes I have thanks..

Regards,

Simon
