With a rack you either replace the rack and the modems or go with the latest modem that the rack was designed for which limits your choices somewhat. The rack modems tend to be more expensive as well. At one stage the NetComm rack modems were about $900-1000 while the standalone M34F went for around $500-600. Regards ...
