I strongly urge you NOT to do that; rather, just tell people to compile
with curses. You don't need to distribute the curses library (nor parts
thereof) with your program. By leaving the program to be linked with
curses, it remains portable to other platforms. (Unix users will almost
certainly have a curses library installed already. Windows users may not,
but they can still use the library with more apps than just yours.)
