That is not good, I'm sure that will need work.

Have a look at your /etc/inetd.conf. There will be a number of sample
telnet lines in there inserted by ./SETUP.sh. Uncomment the one you
need and restart inetd. 

On debian..
 
/etc/init.d/openbsd-inetd stop
/etc/init.d/openbsd-inetd start

It may be different depending on your distribution but your looking
for something like that.
