subject: Cheap SVHS /w timecode

-> Can anyone recommend an SVHS deck with both VITC and LTC read and write.
The
-> Sanyo GVR S-950 fits my budget -just- but has no VITC (more important to
e
-> than LTC).
-> As far as features, Panasonic's AG 1970 is high enough quality for my
-> nonlinear system. Perhaps there is an outboard reader/writer available?
ow
-> would it hook up though. Guess not. Anyway, any comments would be
-> appreciated.
JVC has just released a very nice set-up. Complete package with controller,
VITC, LTC, TBC, all those nifty abbreviations ( ;) ). Abour $6700 list, I
believe. I'll get the model numbers and what-not when I have a light to
see...
