David Mccarley was heard to tell All the following
about MCCARLEY SANFORD GRANT GR on 07-20-96 10:31:

Would this be related to A. S. Stewart, I think his real
name is Andrew. You may have his father here also. (I
think it is A.S., A. J. sounds better, but I think I
picked that up from watching Auto Racing on TV. )
I have a copy of the Indiana County Caldwell's History
Book out at Mom's, we ordered the Film through the Local
Library here and copied the book a piece at a time. They
give you ten copies for free. That was alot of trips and
I still paid them about $8 for copies and that was a little
over half the book. On that film we had, they also had Area
Maps circa 1880 showing the Farms and who owned them at that
time. If you haven't seen the Book yet, you oughta check it
out. Many people From Cumberland in the mid 1700's Migrated
into Indiana County and the bok has some Stewarts in it.
If you are interested, I can get the book off Mom with in the
next few days and send ya a copy of the sections I find on
Stewarts. Never know, it may help some. (G)
