Hum. Trials like wars are unpredicatable in terms of their outcomes.

Once peopel have to tell the truth & you put a good inquisitor in place
then often things come out which ....are interesting e.g. from the above
link:

"Recounting their conversation, Cooper said Rove cautioned him,
"Don't get too far out on Wilson," meaning the credibility of
Wilson's criticism, because "a number of things are going to be coming
out" on him. "

i.e. this was a planned attack on Wilson & thus could imply a planned
leaking of his wife's profession.

If planned....by whom because planning to leak this info could be seen as conspiracy.
