I've instantly gone from highly consistent 26400bps connects with the GVC (which your Binkley logs will verify), to full-on 33600bps connects with the USR/Dynalink rebadge. BTW, this particular modem appears to have a socketed EPROM, and a later Supervisor date than those which suffered from the V.42bis slowdown, and Askey's pricing was extremely competitive as well (see netmail).
