Hello Tommy!
TU> You can pick up a demo of Windows 97 at your nearest Kinko's for
TU> $4.99... It provides ALL Of the functionality of the full product
TU> (though it IS the standard version, no Bookshelf) and will give you a
TU> chance to see if you really want to upgrade. But be warned, it does
TU> overwrite your shortcuts in the Start menu, and if you want to use
TU> both versions, you will need to put in short-cuts to the older
TU> software.
Warning: if you decide not to buy it after all and uninstall it, the program
will also effectively remove shared DLL's in use by other programs as well,
forcing you to reinstall either Office 95 or your other programs. Microsoft
sure knows how to do marketing...But Office 97 is really a super package.
All the best,
Stefan
