No I didn't.  Something else to check out.

That's the way I had it before and I have it that way now and at least 
for the time being it seems to be working.

What concerns me is the fact that I am seeing seeing different things 
happening and things working and not working without me making any 
changes. All seems to be working now as I just finished install ecs on 
the D: paratition.  Now to install the tape backup program.  This 
experience has thaught me that even though I have a good back up plan in 
place I really need to make the effort to figure out the bootable 
program to avoid all the reinstalling.

I think I have figured out how to access all the settings, it is knowing 
what to set them that usually gives me trouble.
