"C for dummies", it has things like void main(), non ANSI functions,
and assumes everyone in the world has a Borland or MS compiler. 
The book is dangerously close to being tainted with Schildtism.

"Teach yourself C in 21 days" sounds like a better idea, even if
it doesn't have groovy cartoons.
