I agree with the second part of your statement, but not the first.  The 
Highway CGA-->XGA converter produces a mighty fine looking picture.  One of 
the folks who posts here a lot has some pictures of his setup on the web.  It 
motivated me to order one of these things as a hedge against my dying pool of 
15khz. capable monitors.

Henry, if you are really looking to become a modern-day hardware hero to Apple 
enthusiasts, develop an inexpensive scan converter that works :-).
