subject: LCD DISPLAY WITH PPP ACCOUNT

I had been using my SupraSonic on my DOS machine with Telix 3.51. I has
been working fine using the new -22 beta firmware. I decided to switch
the modem to my Windows machine and see how it would work with Netscape
2.01 and Netterm Telnet program. I first set the modem up with Netterm
and Telix 3.51 for BBS connections. Both programs and modem work fine. I
even got a 31200 connection to my ISP shell account.

I then setup Netscape using the same init string. After connecting with
Netscape to my PPP account I looked at the LCD display and it only showed
the RX speed and connection protocol. With the other two programs the
display is set to alternate the display and show RX, TX, EQM, %L and V34
LAPM V42bis protocol. Anyone have an idea how I can get Netscape to show
ALL the info on the LCD as Telix and Netterm do? Does anyone get ALL the
LCD info using Netscape?
