what they created in embarrassment!  What I did to "attract" this was
denounce them in another echo as troublemakers and emotional misfits.

And I certainly haven't 'attracted' misfits to this echo. I've spent a
lot of time (In Netmail) negotiating their peaceful removal.

Jay, I think you're just slightly confused about something. This is not
MY echo specifically, and *I* HAVE no readers.  The echo belongs to
everybody, and I only oversee it for them, I do not CONTROL it, thus I'm
not responsible for it nor its ramming.
I think everybody here sees why FLAME was banned and I think you see
that too.  Banning THIS echo because some misguided juvenile mind saw
fit to fill it with filth is patently ridiculous. FLAME was
INTENTIONALLY vile!
And No, I don't think it WAS one of our normal participants. The rammers
could EASILY have gleaned the names etc from merely archiving the echo
for a week. OR, some of the malcontents we experienced earlier could
have provided a "names file."  Y'know?

Obviously, you might have suffered the same fate if YOU had inherited
the moderatorship of this echo as you wanted to.  Would you be so quick
to point out that it was YOUR name attributed to such crap?  You know
damn well I had nothing to do with those messages.  If I were in your
shoes I'd be careful of inferring  that I did.
Anything further on THIS discussion I'll handle with you in netmail.
The only reason I'm discussing this at ALL _IN_ the echo is to make sure
all concerned know I'm working on the problem as hard as I can.
