The Panthers were very real. It was a lot more than luck that got them where 
they were. They scored 149 more points than their opponents last year -- 
second to Green Bay. Heck, they were 3-2 in games decided by 6 or less points 
and 9-2 in games decided by 10 or more (Jacksonville was 6-3/2-2 in the same 
such circumstances). That's hardly the kind of stats that you'd say belonged 
to a lucky team.
