Thanks for your reply, Gord!

GH> The ugly Runtime error, can be fixed with:

I already fixed it with the next patch I got from Bj”rn Felten (2:203/208)
in ENET.SYSOP:

That's a classic. It's a well known bug in the CRT unit of Turbo Pascal.

 HN> Anyone with a usefull suggestion/advise?

If the exe file is not compressed with PkLite or similar, just use the tiny
program below (cut out the FIX_RUNT.BAT, run it, delete it and then run the
created FIX_RUNT.COM with your exe file name as parameter), and, if you get no
error from it, all should be well. You may want to save the .COM for future
use,
the error is rather common

I aplied FIX_RUNT.COM on TERMINAT.EXE and ran the patched version of
TERMINAT.EXE again.
But again "runtime error 200" but now at another (consistent) adress
So I aplied FIX_RUNT.COM for a 2nd time, but now of the patched version of
TERMINAT.EXE
When I started the 2 times patched version, all ran very smooth

It is running now on my 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 under WinXP
I'm testing it now with more new hardware (other ISDN adapter) It is not
yet operational as a node system, but I tested it in "pointsystem" mode.
As soon as the _whole_ fido package is copied on the new system en all cfgs
and path are "tuned", then the new system can take over the task for
node;-) (that includes BinkD and T-FIX)

GH> Supply me with email address and I will ship to you.

It's always in my "sign-off" ;-)

GH> Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

It sure would have helped, Gord.

BTW: I couldn't reply your msg from my new PC, because I did forget just
this .pkt to copy into the other system its inbound.

Best Regards,
      Herman Neut
