Hey Russell!

I gave up on burning CDs about that long ago. I am currently using flash
media for backups. Faster and more reliable over the long haul then CDs
are. The only problem is cost but then that helps explain why I am
conservative when it comes to backed up data. Just stuff that would be
impossible or extremely difficult to replace.

I am sure we're all guilty of that. I know I slip up and freely admit it.
However that is usually how I learn and hopefully don't repeat that same
mistake again, whatever the mistake or misconfiguration was. Thus backing
up important configurations is usually a high priority item here. I am
sure all those old CDs have more then enough of those on them. I haven't
needed any of them lately and they currently are sitting in a box but
looking around I can spy two compactflash disks within arm's reach and feel
a usb flashdisk in my pants pocket as we speak. I know what is on them,
and I am betting they will see action for a little while yet.

Life is good,
Maurice
