     I honestly think that weeds have the ability to suck
     the moisture out of the atmosphere.....
     In reality the root structure runs *much...much*....
     deeper than the grass's root structure does. There's a
     whole lot more moisture at that depth (comparitively)
     than there is at 3" or so after a string of 90+ers...
     So after your grass has turned to straw the weeds keep
     right on humming.
